About the Show
Based on the journey of Samantha Brown—a high school senior grappling with grief and the overwhelming weight of her future following the death of her best friend, Kelly—The Mad Ones delivers an emotional and powerful narrative. Originally premiered off-Broadway in 2017 under the title The Unauthorized Autobiography of Samantha Brown, the musical quickly became a viral sensation. It garnered millions of YouTube views and saw over 15,000 pieces of sheet music sold before licensing rights were made available.
Following a well-received run at Birmingham’s Old Joint Stock Theatre in April 2023, this revival marks the musical’s London debut, reaffirming its status as a contemporary classic in musical theatre.
