The producers of Tina – The Tina Turner Musical have announced that Fleur East will join the cast as the legendary Tina Turner, marking her theatrical debut. Starting from 24 June to 13 September 2025, East will share the role with current star Karis Anderson in the West End production. Since its premiere in London, the production has expanded internationally with eight shows running worldwide, including a new UK and Ireland tour that launched earlier this year. The West End production remains the longest-running show ever at the Aldwych Theatre, a testament to its enduring popularity.
Fleur East will be taking on the role of Tina Turner for a limited time, joining the West End cast after a highly successful run of the show and bringing her own dynamic energy to the role.

East is widely recognized as a singer, presenter, and performer, having gained fame on The X Factor and since building a successful career in music and television. The musical, which has seen great success in both the West End and on international stages, is directed by Phyllida Lloyd and written by Pulitzer Prize-winner Katori Hall, with Frank Ketelaar and Kees Prins. The show features choreography by Anthony van Laast, set and costume designs by Mark Thompson, and musical supervision by Nicholas Skilbeck. The creative team also includes lighting design by Bruno Poet, sound design by Nevin Steinberg, and projection design by Jeff Sugg. The musical’s wigs, hair, and makeup design are by Campbell Young Associates, with fight direction by Kate Waters.
