Full Cast Announced for Sondheim’s Here We Are at the National Theatre

The National Theatre has confirmed the complete cast for Here We Are, the final musical by Stephen Sondheim and David Ives, which will begin performances this April.

About Here We Are

Inspired by two films by Luis Buñuel—The Discreet Charm of the Bourgeoisie and The Exterminating Angel—the musical follows a group of guests who find themselves mysteriously unable to leave a dinner party. With a score by Sondheim, a book by Ives, and direction by Joe Mantello, the production originally premiered at The Shed in New York in 2023, where it received widespread critical acclaim.
