Jodie Comer to Star in Prima Facie UK and Ireland Tour in 2026
Jodie Comer is set to reprise her award-winning role in Prima Facie for an eagerly awaited UK and Ireland tour, starting at the Richmond Theatre on 23 January 2026. This marks the return of the WhatsOnStage, Olivier, and Tony Award-winning production to stages across the country.
Prima Facie Tour Details
The Prima Facie tour will bring Comer back to the stage in Suzie Miller’s critically acclaimed one-woman drama, following its successful runs in London and New York. With the production's deep resonance, Comer is excited to introduce the powerful story to new audiences. She shared:

About Prima Facie
Directed by Justin Martin, Prima Facie is a compelling and thought-provoking piece of theatre. The story follows Tessa (played by Comer), a criminal barrister whose life is upended after she experiences sexual assault. Described as "an unforgettable moment of theatre" by WhatsOnStage’s Sarah Crompton, the production has garnered praise for its impactful storytelling and powerful performances.
The creative team behind the touring production includes composer Rebecca Lucy Taylor (Self Esteem), set and costume designer Miriam Buether, lighting designer Natasha Chivers, sound designers Max and Ben Ringham, video designer Willie Williams for Treatment Studio, and voice coach Kate Godfrey. James Bierman produces the tour for Empire Street Productions.
The Prima Facie UK and Ireland tour will continue to raise awareness around important social issues, maintaining its partnerships with charities such as the Schools Consent Project and Everyone’s Invited.
