Oliver! Announces Ava Brennan as Alternate Nancy for West End Run

The acclaimed West End revival of Oliver! has revealed that Ava Brennan will join the cast as the alternate Nancy, playing the iconic role at select performances. This exciting addition follows the successful run of the show at Chichester Festival Theatre, where it received rave reviews, including a five-star rating from WhatsOnStage and a WhatsOnStage Award for its initial production.

Adapted from Charles Dickens' classic novel Oliver Twist, Oliver! brings the compelling story of an orphaned boy to life, as he navigates the hardships of life in the workhouse and seeks solace in London’s underworld. With unforgettable songs like "Food Glorious Food", "Consider Yourself", "You've Got to Pick-a-Pocket or Two", and "As Long As He Needs Me", the musical captures the essence of Dickens’ tale, blending drama with heartwarming melodies.

Creative Team Behind the West End Revival

The highly anticipated revival is conceived by Cameron Mackintosh and directed and choreographed by Matthew Bourne, with Jean-Pierre van der Spuy co-directing. The production features set and costume design by Lez Brotherston, musical supervision by Graham Hurman, and lighting design by Paule Constable and Ben Jacobs.
