Operation Mincemeat to Make Broadway Debut with Original Cast
The multi-award-winning musical Operation Mincemeat is set to make its Broadway debut this spring, with performances beginning at the Golden Theatre on 15 February 2025, ahead of an official opening on 20 March 2025.
Following its critically acclaimed journey from London’s New Diorama Theatre in 2019 to the West End’s Fortune Theatre, the show will now run simultaneously in London and New York, with further plans expected to be announced soon.
About the Musical
Set during World War II, Operation Mincemeat follows a daring espionage mission, in which British intelligence uses a stolen corpse to mislead the German army. The musical blends history, humor, and high-energy performances, making it one of the most celebrated British musicals of recent years.
Having won multiple awards, including WhatsOnStage and Olivier Awards for Best New Musical, its Broadway transfer marks a major milestone in its journey.
