Stereophonic to Transfer to the West End in May 2025
The critically acclaimed, Tony Award-winning drama Stereophonic by David Adjmi is set to make its West End debut at the Duke of York’s Theatre in May 2025. Following a groundbreaking run on Broadway, the play will arrive in London with its signature blend of intense drama, evocative music, and layered storytelling.
About Stereophonic
Set in a California music studio, Stereophonic immerses audiences in the turbulent world of a Fleetwood Mac-style rock band. The drama unfolds as the band works on their latest album, with romantic entanglements, creative conflicts, and rising tensions threatening to tear the group apart—just as they’re poised for fame.
The three-act, three-hour play also features original songs by Will Butler (of Arcade Fire), seamlessly integrating music into the narrative to heighten its emotional impact.
West End Cast
The production will feature three original cast members reprising their Broadway roles:
Eli Gelb as Grover
Andrew R Butler as Charlie
Chris Stack as Simon
Full casting for the West End production will be announced soon.
