The National Theatre Reveals Here We Are Rehearsals
The National Theatre has released a sneak peek into the rehearsal room for Stephen Sondheim and David Ives’ highly anticipated musical Here We Are. The production, set to run in London this April 2025, promises a captivating theatrical experience with a score by the legendary Stephen Sondheim and a book by David Ives. Directed by Joe Mantello, the show is inspired by two iconic films by Luis Buñuel – The Discreet Charm of the Bourgeoisie and The Exterminating Angel.
About Here We Are – A Surreal Dinner Party Drama
Here We Are follows a group of guests who find themselves unable to leave a dinner party, with the tension escalating in a surreal, unexpected turn of events. The play, which was first seen at The Shed in New York in 2023, received impressive reviews for its innovative storyline and stunning performances.
