Winners Announced for Critics’ Circle Theatre Awards 2025

The winners of the Critics' Circle Theatre Awards 2025 were revealed at a ceremony held at the National Theatre this afternoon. The awards, voted on by UK-based theatre critics, recognise the best of theatre work from across 2025, with Robert Icke's groundbreaking production of Oedipus taking home multiple accolades.

The major winner of the evening was Robert Icke’s production of Oedipus, which earned three prestigious awards:
