Disney’s Hercules Announces Complete West End Casting

The West End premiere of Disney’s Hercules has finalized its cast, ahead of its highly anticipated opening at the Theatre Royal Drury Lane this summer.

Based on Disney’s 1997 animated film, Hercules follows the journey of the Greek hero as he strives to claim his strength and birthright while facing off against the cunning Hades.

With music by Alan Menken (The Little Mermaid, Beauty and the Beast), lyrics by David Zippel (Mulan), and a new book by Robert Horn (Shucked) and Kwame Kwei-Armah (The Visitor), the musical brings beloved songs like “Go the Distance”, “Zero to Hero”, and “I Won’t Say (I’m in Love)” to the stage alongside fresh material.

Directed and choreographed by Casey Nicholaw (The Book of Mormon, Disney’s Aladdin), the production debuted in Hamburg and now brings its dazzling spectacle to London, with Tanisha Scott as co-choreographer.
