New Adaptation Hamlet Hail to the Thief Unveils Full Cast and Creative Team

A groundbreaking reimagining of Shakespeare’s Hamlet, infused with the music of Radiohead, is set to premiere at Aviva Studios, Manchester, before transferring to the Royal Shakespeare Theatre in Stratford-upon-Avon.

About the Production

Hamlet Hail to the Thief is an innovative adaptation that marries Shakespeare’s classic text with reworked versions of songs from Radiohead’s 2003 album Hail to the Thief. Directed by Steven Hoggett and Christine Jones, the production promises a fresh and experimental take on one of the Bard’s most famous tragedies. With orchestrations by Thom Yorke, the show integrates the iconic soundscapes of Radiohead into the dramatic narrative of Hamlet, offering audiences an experience that is both familiar and entirely new.
