Mary Poppins Tour Confirms Cast for Final Stops
The hit musical Mary Poppins has confirmed its cast for additional tour stops across the UK. Based on the beloved book series by P.L. Travers and the 1964 Disney film, Mary Poppins tells the enchanting story of a flying nanny who transforms the lives of the Banks family. After an impressive run in the West End in early 2023, the production continues to captivate audiences across the UK with new casting details.
Mary Poppins Tour: Cast Details
Stefanie Jones and Jack Chambers, who have previously played Mary Poppins and Bert in the show’s recent Australian production, will reprise their roles for the upcoming tour stops. They are confirmed to appear at the Bradford Alhambra (from 21 May 2025) and the Birmingham Hippodrome (from 16 July 2025).
The Creative Team Behind Mary Poppins
The stage musical features original music and lyrics by Richard M. Sherman and Robert B. Sherman, with new songs and additional music and lyrics by George Stiles and Anthony Drewe. The book is written by Julian Fellowes, with orchestrations by William David Brohn and dance and vocal arrangements by Stiles.
The production is directed by Richard Eyre, with co-direction and choreography by Matthew Bourne, co-choreography by Stephen Mear, and sound design by Paul Gatehouse. Lighting design is by Hugh Vanstone, and scenic and costume design is by Bob Crowley.

Additionally, Olive Harrison, Connie Jones, Yvie Moore, Katie Ryden, and Sienna Sibley will alternate the role of Jane Banks, while Oliver Benson, Charlie Donald, Oli Manning, Joshua Miles, and Oliver Noble will alternate as Michael Banks.

The Mary Poppins tour is currently in Plymouth until 29 March 2025, and then heads to Manchester from 9 April 2025. Additional stops include:
