To do so, he creates a persona of a Scottish nanny, Mrs. Doubtfire, in a heartwarming and humorous tale of love, family, and identity. The musical adaptation of the classic film brings a fresh perspective to the much-loved story, with original music and lyrics by Wayne Kirkpatrick and Karey Kirkpatrick, and a book by Karey Kirkpatrick and John O'Farrell, best known for Something Rotten!.

The scenic design is by David Korins (Hamilton), costume design by Catherine Zuber (Moulin Rouge! The Musical), lighting by Philip S. Rosenberg (Pretty Woman The Musical), and sound design by Brian Ronan (Beautiful: The Carole King Musical).
