Mrs Doubtfire Musical to Tour the UK and Ireland

Following its successful run in the West End, Mrs Doubtfire the musical is set to embark on its first-ever UK and Ireland tour. The production, based on the beloved 1993 film starring Robin Williams, will be bringing its heartwarming story and catchy tunes to audiences across the country. The announcement comes shortly after the musical's closing night in London, marking the beginning of its next exciting chapter.

About Mrs Doubtfire: The Musical

Mrs Doubtfire tells the story of Daniel Hillard, a recently divorced man who desperately wants to stay connected with his children. To do so, he creates a persona of a Scottish nanny, Mrs. Doubtfire, in a heartwarming and humorous tale of love, family, and identity. The musical adaptation of the classic film brings a fresh perspective to the much-loved story, with original music and lyrics by Wayne Kirkpatrick and Karey Kirkpatrick, and a book by Karey Kirkpatrick and John O'Farrell, best known for Something Rotten!.

The show made its Broadway debut before heading to the West End, where it received positive reviews. WhatsOnStage called it a “thoroughly enjoyable musical that wears its heart on its sleeve,” capturing the charm and warmth of the original film while adding new musical elements.
