About The Producers
Mel Brooks and Thomas Meehan’s Tony and Olivier Award-winning musical follows two scheming theatre producers who attempt to stage the worst musical ever written—only for it to become an unexpected hit. Featuring classic songs like “Springtime for Hitler” and “I Wanna Be a Producer”, the show is a hilarious send-up of Broadway’s excesses and remains one of the most beloved comedy musicals of all time.
The Menier Chocolate Factory’s production was met with rave reviews, with critics praising it as “hugely entertaining” and “laugh-out-loud funny.”
Mel Brooks on The Producers’ Return
Mel Brooks, who wrote the original film and co-created the stage adaptation, expressed his excitement about the show’s return to London’s West End:
“I couldn’t be more proud of this show. I can’t wait to sit in the Garrick Theatre and be bathed in laughter.”
