Cast Announced for Unicorn Theatre’s Family Favourite Beegu
The Unicorn Theatre is excited to announce the full cast and creative team for Beegu, a heartwarming new adaptation of Alexis Deacon’s beloved children’s book. Running from Saturday 22nd March to Sunday 4th May 2025, this family-friendly production will bring to life the charming story of an alien’s journey to find friendship and inclusion.
About Beegu
Based on the New York Times Book Review’s Best Illustrated Books of the Year, Beegu is a delightful tale that will captivate young audiences aged 3-7. The production explores important themes of friendship, respect, and the importance of inclusion as Beegu, a little alien, lands on Earth after her spaceship crashes. Struggling to connect with the seemingly unfriendly Earth people, Beegu’s journey ultimately reveals that companionship might be closer than she thought.

Leading the cast as Beegu is Emma MacLennan (known for Alice’s Adventures Underground at The Vaults and In The Night Garden Live UK Tour). She will be joined by:
