Full Casting Announced for Pop Off, Michelangelo! at Underbelly Boulevard Soho
Blair Russell Productions has officially announced the full cast for Dylan MarcAurele’s Pop Off, Michelangelo! at Underbelly Boulevard Soho. The production, which gained significant attention during its run at the Edinburgh Festival Fringe 2024 and concert performances at The Other Palace, is set to return to the stage for a limited 5-week run in Soho from 23 May to 22 June 2025, with previews starting 17 May.
The Pop Off, Michelangelo cast: Kurran Dhan, Max Eade, Aoife Haakenson, Aidan MacColl, Michael Marouli, Sev Keoshgerian and Laura Sillett.
Joe McNeice will direct the musical comedy, which promises to bring an irrepressible energy to the stage as it explores the fiercely competitive rivalry between Renaissance Italy’s greatest artists—Michelangelo and Leonardo da Vinci.
The production will see Max Eade and Aidan MacColl reprise their roles as Michelangelo and Leonardo da Vinci, respectively. The cast will also feature Kurran Dhand as Salai, Aoife Haakenson as Mother, Sev Keoshgerian as the Italian Chef, Michael Marouli as the Pope, and Laura Sillett as Savonarola.
