Till the Stars Come Down Transfers to the West End for Limited Run
Following its critically acclaimed premiere at the National Theatre, Beth Steel’s Till the Stars Come Down is set to transfer to the Theatre Royal Haymarket for a limited run from 1 July to 27 July 2025.
The play, which explores family dynamics during a wedding in a former mining town, was hailed as an “utterly unmissable play” by WhatsOnStage and was nominated for Best New Play at the Olivier Awards.

A Landmark Achievement for Beth Steel
Playwright Beth Steel expressed her excitement, stating:
“Having a play staged at the National Theatre in 2024 was a dream come true, to be bringing it to the West End is nothing short of a fever dream!”
