Ewan McGregor is joined by an exceptional cast, including Elizabeth Debicki, Kate Fleetwood, David Ajala, and Mirren Mack, in My Master Builder, a powerful new play by American playwright and screenwriter Lila Raicek. Set on the eve of July 4th in the Hamptons, the play follows Elena Solness, a successful publishing magnate, as she prepares for a party celebrating her architect husband, Henry Solness, and the unveiling of his latest architectural triumph. But their fragile marriage is rocked by the unexpected arrival of Mathilde, a former student of Henry’s with whom he once shared an intimate bond.

As the evening unfolds, each character faces an emotional reckoning that will irrevocably shift the course of their lives. Inspired by Henrik Ibsen’s work, My Master Builder explores the complex vulnerabilities we reveal when we open ourselves up to love, passion, and the consequences of past choices. This startling new play promises a deeply thought-provoking and compelling theatrical experience, showcasing the emotional depth and powerful performances of its talented cast.
